Julie & Garry welcome you to their Beach House; with westerly views, you can soak up the sunset with a glass of wine, enjoying the quiet rural setting of Downton, Hampshire.
Being close to the New Forest and a couple of minutes car ride to the quintessential English village of Milford on Sea there is plenty to do and see, with many local walks taking in the spectacular views across to the Isle of Wight. With stunning walks overlooking Christchurch Bay, we have so much on offer in this area! Keyhaven is one of the recommended bird spotting sites in the UK, Hurst Castle is a must, the quaint village of Milford on Sea to be discovered. see for yourself! …
You will also not be disappointed with what is on offer in the area, 7 miles to the West lies the town of Christchurch, location of the Priory which claims to be the longest Parish church in England and was built in 1094, enjoy a tea in Tuckton tea gardens or venture further West and the wonderful sea-side resort of Bournemouth awaits your discovery, with its funicular railway, Pavilion gardens, promenade and pier. The Purbecks awaits your enjoyment; with lots of coastal walks, beautiful Dorset villages to discover and steeped in history, visit Corfe Castle, nestled in stunning countryside. Venturing East, you will discover the beautiful town of Lymington, and its quayside with cobbled streets and delicious New Forest ice-cream. Why not have a day out and board the Wight-Link ferry to Yarmouth and enjoy spectacular views of the Solent with a day trip to the Island. Alternatively, the New Forest has much in store for the tourist, with Exbury Gardens, Beaulieu and its Motor Museum offering much in the way of interest. Further afield, discover Salisbury with its beautiful, spired Cathedral, visit the historic Portsmouth Dockyard, or Winchester Cathedral and its walled City, all within 1 hour car ride of your accommodation. You won’t be bored!
We have a lovely cosy pub, the Royal Oak, within a few minutes walk to our accommodation, as well as a local convenience shop for any immediate requirements, again within walking distance to our accommodation – ideal for picking up your Sunday morning newspaper and freshly baked bread! Milford on Sea has a gastronomic selection of restaurants and pubs, plus a fantastic fish and chip shop….enjoy on the sea front!

We offer independent private accommodation suitable for 2 persons.
INTERNALLY:
Studio type unit, open plan with en-suite.
One double bed. Table and two chairs. Two comfy chairs. Smart TV. Wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Galley kitchen includes washing machine, fridge with small freezer compartment.
En-suite offers walk in shower enclosure with electric shower, wash basin and toilet with vanity unit and heated towel rail.
Complimentary tea, coffee and milk to kick start your break away.
All bed linen and towels provided.

EXTERNALLY:
Accommodation set back from main property which enjoys a beautiful, landscaped garden and to the rear, views of the wildlife pond.
Private secluded outside patio south facing, offering patio set with cushions and two sun loungers (summertime only with umbrella), small BBQ, washing line. We also offer bicycle storage (ideal for electric bikes too!).
Parking on site (private driveway).
WHAT WE ASK:
Two nights stay minimum please.
No smoking allowed inside the property.

Optional Continental breakfast (extra charge – comprising croissants, jam, butter, yoghurt, and fruit).
We are happy to discuss bringing a small dog for a small supplement.
